SCS CAS38 A Card and A Gift Tag/Card

This week's CAS38 challenge on SCS is to use brads or eyelets. The first card uses two PaperTrey sets from last year: Rustic Branches and Take A Bough. I used red and silver brads for the berries.
I used a Cuttlebug Border embossing folder along the side for some texture. One more holiday card completed!

I have a lot of cool brads and I want to use them up! I made a little tag/gift card (3" sq) using this cute cherries brad. I used PaperTrey Polka Dot Basics and Everyday Button Bits for the sentiment and finished it off with a gingham ribbon.
Thanks for coming by!

Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey Rustic Brances, Take a Bough, Polka Dot basics, Everyday Button Bits; Ink - PaperTrey New Leaf, Memento Lady Bug, Versafine Onyx Black; Paper - PaperTrey Stampers Select; Misc - brads, Cuttlebug Border embossing folder, Nestabilities, ribbon

  1. I love the combo of the embossed border and the wreath design on the first card. How clever to use brads as berries. The second card is so cute in black, white and red.

  2. Sweet cards with lots of color punch!

  3. Love 'em both, Harriet! You are the Clean and Simple master:)

  4. Both are just great! That embossed edge really goes nice with the stamped image for the Seasons Greetings card.

  5. I love those cherries and that gingham ribbon.
