Susan of the Simplicity blog has been having one layer card challenges every Wednesday. This week the challenge is to use masking. I love this technique. Here are 3 cards that I have made recently with this technique:
In each case I used a negative punch shape as my mask and sponged in the color of the backgrounds. For the butterfly card I kept the mask on and stamped the dragonfly and bullrushes so the images were contained within the butterfly shape. For the other two I wanted the images to go out of the shape so I stamped the images without the mask.
Thanks for coming by!
