I absolutely love to paper piece - I think it is my favorite technique! This week's challenge over at the Woodware USA blog is paper piecing. I hope you play along with us - you do not need to use Woodware stamps but if you have them we'd love to see them!!
I used the TESC127 sketch and the Embellish Magazines challenge of paper piecing and using Kraft, yellow, light green and dark green.
This cute little girl image is from Woodware's Mary and Friends stamp set. I used Memory Box Homespun papers for the background and to paper piece Mary's clothes, shoes and flower. I cut the image out with a circle Nestability using the out of the box technique.
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: Stamps - Woodware USA Mary and Friends; Ink - Versafine Onyx Black; Paper - PaperTrey Kraft, Memory Box Homespun Collection; Misc - Nestabilities
She is adorable! The out of the box technique works PERFECT here! Love her piced dress too!! I really like the sketch too - maybe I'll have to go play!
