Welcome to Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge #62. The challenge is to make a card for the 4th of July. This was a challenge for me as I didn't have any Mark's Finest Papers (MFP) patriotic stamps. I looked through all of my MFP sets and decided that the dandelions from Just Dandy could look like fireworks. So I colored the top of the largest dandelion with Memento markers and stamped them on white card stock. I punched a fence for Speedy the Cat to sit on and watch the fireworks show. The string of banners is a die cut from an SEI paper pack. The sentiment is also from Mark's Finest Papers - Here Comes the Grad set.
Now it is your turn to play - just create a new card inspired by our theme - the 4th of July and add a direct link to it on InLinkz on the Mark's Finest Papers blog for a chance to win a not yet released stamp set. If you use MFP stamps your name will be entered twice for the chance to win!
Thanks for coming by!
