Faux Letterpress and an MFP Sneak Peek!

This is for the SCS WT351 challenge - Faux Letterpress Technique (ink up an embossing folder). I used the colors from CR84FN43 - Brown, Tan, Green and MJ's Lunchtime Sketch TSSC202. This is a sneak peek of a soon to be released stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co. called Ice & Snow.  I stamped the trees first with Rich Cocoa ink, then stamped them again a little off to the right of the original image with Desert Sand to give it some shading and a bit more dimension.
I inked the Sizzix embossing folder (backside) with Desert Sand ink and ran white card stock through my Big Shot. I did the same thing using Bamboo Shoots ink with another piece of white card stock.
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: Stamps - Mark's Finest papers a Heinrich Co.; Paper - Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.; Ink - Memento; Misc - Sizzix Embossing Folder, Foam Squares

  1. Very, very nice, Harriet. I love that embossing folder. Your "shadowed" trees look wonderful. All around terrific card.
