You're the Best

The SCS color challenge for today is Crushed Curry, Eggplant Envy and Garden Green.  I cased this card by Kelly Latevola.  I used the sunflower from Stamplorations and colored the stamps with markers in the challenge colors (the leaves are from a PTI set) and stamped them on watercolor paper masking them as I went along.  I then used the watercoloring with markers technique to color the flowers in.  I added highlights with a white gel pen for some depth and texture. I cut the panel around the top of the flowers and leaves and set it aside.  I used a V99 Copic marker to color the top half of the card front, then layered the watercolored panel on top.  The sentiment is also from Stamplorations.
I am submitting this to the monthly Stamplorations challenge: Stamps and Markers:

Nothing like waiting for the last minute!

I am also submitting this to the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge: Opposites Attract:

Thanks for coming by!
