Hello
Hello! This is a case of a card from Torico's SCS gallery for the SCS Featured Stamper challenge. I used Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold and Extras and the W&W cutaway "hello" die. I am submitting this to the Winnie & Walter 1st birthday bash challenge: CAS Freestyle Collage
I stamped the flowers onto an already watercolored wash background and fussy cut them out. The "hello" sentiment wa also cut from the same watercolored background. I didn't have striped paper like Torico's so I cut black strips and adhered them to the white card stock panel. This is so outside of my crafting comfort zone - especially using the twine in this trendy way - it took me longer to get it to look decent than to make the rest of the card!!
Thanks for coming by!

I like the way you made the little design with the cord behind it. Nice bright, happy card! I really need to get back to making some cards again.......it's been way too long!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! The twine behind the flowers came out perfectly! The fussing was worth it! =)
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Harriet ... the warm colours in those sweet blooms and the sentiment are fabulous against the bold black and white stripes ... and your twine 'nest' looks perfect to me! Anita :)
