Happy Birthday
This is for the Online Card Class - Mask-erade, Day 3: Liquid Masking. I really need to practice with this technique a lot more. I first used a liquid mask with the fine tip and spread it with a paint brush and waited for it to dry. I then used the Zig Clean Color Brushes to watercolor the background. It was all good until I tried to remove the mask. I carefully rubbed the mask but part of it tore the watercolor paper with it! That got tossed. On this card I used Rubber Cement for the masking. It was harder to put on but it sure came off more easily. I see some of my watercolors seeped through the mask or I didn't have a good covering of the rubber cement.
The flowers are from Stamplorations and the sentiment from Reverse Confetti was heat embossed with Hero Arts white detail embossing powder.
Thanks for coming by!

I'm sorry you had a rough start with this day, Harriet, but I sure do love how you ended up! The color wash on this for poppies in the grass at sunset is sensational!! Hugs, Darnell
