I needed to make 2 cards to give to a past Rabbinic intern who is getting ordained as a Rabbi this weekend. The above card I made to give to Megan from my family. This really isn't a traditional card to give someone for an ordination I suppose but in my mind, this is Megan. The butterfly is from Visible Image from the UK. I embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I did a background wash with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. I used a strip of PTI patterned paper for the edge and stamped the sentiment by Zenspirations with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I clear embossed the sentiment for some nice dimension.
The card below I made for someone else to give to Megan.
This is another stamp from Zenspirations. It is one wood mounted stamp which I stamped with Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder. I then did this colorful wash with the Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. The sentiment is from a Psalm that we sing at our temple.
Thanks for coming by!
