Dusty Razzleberry Saffrons

That is the name of this week's SCS color challenge: Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry and So Saffron.
This is the first card I came up with.  The image is from ISC and I colored it with SU! markers.  I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the background panels for texture.
When I was looking through the challenge gallery and commenting, I came across this card created by Birgit and just had to case it.  And so this card was born:
I am in love!! Consider the possibilities - different colors, different punches, dry emboss the colored squares, stamp on the top punched squares, etc!!!  If you decide to case this I'd love to see what you come up with!  Just leave a link to your creation in the comments here.

  8. I LOVE them both! I would have never looked at the stamp on the top card but you made it soooo cool. I really do like it alot! And the second one is amazing. What a wonderful idea!

  10. What a fab color combo...never would have thought of it on my own in a million years. Both cards are completely beautiful, but the bottom card is my CAS-lovin' favorite. WOW!
