Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday 194. We have a special challenge today - we are creating cards for Send a Smile 4 Kids! The details and requirements can be found on the Flutter By Wednesday blog or here. Just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or and angel! I cased this card created by Melina. I loved how she made her butterfly! I used the colors from SCS CC366 and the sentiment is from a soon to be released set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co Mother's Magnolia - a lovely Mothers Day set. All papers are from Mark's Finest papers as well.
Thanks for coming by!
Oh Harriet, You are wonderful!!! I just cut out 4 pieces of cs like yours here using my new Corner Chomper and then I could not decide what to do with them. I just had them all together as a design and was going to leave it at that but it didn't look right so I just put them aside. I never even "saw" a butterfly in my brain. Thank you so much - I love it and embossing the shapes really makes them pop nicely. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to make a butterfly! Love the gems for the body, too. Great card, Harriet!
