Today we are celebrating STAMPlorations 6th birthday with 2 new cover plates: Doodled Birthday Cake and Doodled Birthday Gifts.
I chose to use the cover plate Doodled Birthday Cake to make a shaker card:
I cut the cover plate from 110 lb white card stock and adhered a piece of acetate to the back. I used a alcohol inked background that I had from my stash for the card front. Before attaching the cover plate die cut to the card front I sprinkled on a good helping of STAMPlorations Blue Shimmer Shaker Blend. I lined the die cut frame with thin strips of foam tape and adhered it to the card front. I die cut black paper with the Celebrate Big Word Phrase die and adhered that on top of the cover plate.
My second card is much simpler. I cut the Doodled Birthday Cake out of an alcohol inked background and glued it onto the card front. I then attached the Celebrate Big Phrase die cut on top of the panel.
I hope you join in our celebration and win a prize (see image above for ways to win)! Thanks for coming by!
So well done with the cover plate. Your cards are all so gorgeous!
