Flutter By Wednesday - Blue, Green and White

Welcome to another Flutter By Wednesday!  Today the challenge is to use the colors blue, green and white on our card or project and of course to include a butterfly, fairy or angel.  If you play with us please be sure to put a direct link into InLinkz on the Flutter By Wednesday blog.

On to my card.  I was inspired by this card created by Maile Belles on her Simply Stamped blog.  I used the PaperTrey Butterfly die and a Martha Stewart butterfly punch on a piece of PaperTrey Stampers Select card stock that was cut slightly smaller than the A2 card front.  I adhered the blue and green buttons onto the card front with glue dots and then the cut card stock was adhered to the front with foam squares.  I stamped the sentiment from PaperTrey's Butterfly Dreams in New Leaf ink.
I really like how this came out and next time I think I'll use an embossing folder on the top piece of card stock for some texture.

Thanks for coming by!

Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey Butterfly Dreams (sentiment); Ink - PaperTrey New Leaf; Paper - PaperTrey Stampers Select; Misc - PaperTrey Butterfly die, MS Butterfly punch, PaperTrey Vintage buttons, Glue Dots, Foam Squares.
