Featured Stamper Sunday

I think the Featured Stamper (FS) challenge is my favorite challenge on SCS - well maybe the CAS one is ... whatever!!  So this week's FS is Gloria aka GloriousGreetings on SCS.  I cased two of her cards:
This is actually the second card I made (I like it better than the first one).  This is a case of Gloria's Calming Teal Sympathy.  I changed the shape of the "shadow", changed the colors to Aqua Mist and Smokey Shadow and punched a Butterfly instead of stamping a dragonfly.

This next card is a case of Gloria's Framed Sunflowers card.  I kept the basic layout but used a Sizzix border embossing folder across the middle instead of two patterned paper panels, used buttons instead of flower soft and changed the colors.

Thanks for coming by!

Supplies: Stamps - PaperTrey; Ink - Aqua Mist, Smokey Shadow; Paper - PaperTrey; Misc - Buttons, clip, ribbon, Sizzix Embossing folder (card#1), MS Butterfly punch, Adhesive pearls, sponge (card#2)

  1. Oh, Harriet, you know what a sucker I am for OLCs...esp with butterflies! The sympathy card looks like a hug to me...so soothing and pretty. The spiral clip accent on the button card is positively perfect!

  2. They are both so pretty, Harriet - well-done! I love the colors in them both, and I love the border embossing folder. I think I agree with you - the top one is my favorite. :)

But I do love the first one. It's so classy! :) I love the shape and the colors. Very inspiring. :)

  4. I love the way you use the Spellbinders die and ink the inside area. Both cards are very pretty but I'll have to add my vote to liking the top one best. :)

  5. Both cards are beautiful but I'm partial to the first because of the colours and maybe the butterfly :o)
