This week's SCS CAS challenge was to make a shabby chic CAS card. Aren't they mutually exclusive??? I knew immediately this was going to be a real challenge for me - I am so not a shabby chic kind of card maker! Luckily this week's Featured Stamper is Ctorina (Cathleen) who has one amazing gallery with the most elegant and gorgeous cards. Some are even shabby chic and CAS so I decided to case one of her cards for the CAS challenge. I cased Cathleen's
Illinois Wildflowers. I used the same MS border punch along both sides of the card, changed the orientation to landscape and embossed the card front with the Cuttlebug Textile folder. A ribbon was woven through both sides of the card front and I finished the card with the 3D flower stickers. I am amazed that I made a shabby chic CAS card! And it is perfect for a wedding shower that I am attending this weekend!

Wow your card is stunning Harriet. I adore the punch you have used and the ribbon woven through - the embossing is so pretty and I agree this is perfect for a Wedding Shower.
