Repeat Impressions What if Wednesday (WIW) Sketch J1211

I think Wednesdays should be renamed to Sketchday!  (For Flutter By Wednesday, please scroll down or click here)  This is my second post for today and it is another sketch!  Wendy of Repeat Impressions (RI) challenged the RI Rock Stars with a great sketch again this week:
Just my kind of sketch - CAS (clean and simple)!  Remember you have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to RI if you enter a card for this challenge.  You don't even have to use RI stamps, but if you do, you will be entered twice!  Just create a new card based on this sketch and link it directly to the RI blog, The House That Stamps Built.  While you are there - check out what the other Rock Stars created from this sketch!
Now here is my take on the sketch:
I used this week's Stamp of the Week - Morning Glories from Repeat Impressions.  All this week this image is being offered at 50% off to RI's blog readers.  Go to the RI blog, The House That Stamps Built to find the details to receive the discount.
I stamped the Morning Glories in Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored it with Memento markers and an aquabrush.  I cut it out and matted it with my Nestabilities.  The horizontal panel was created with a Cuttlebug border die as were the flowers in the corners.
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: Stamps - Repeat Impressions Morning Glories; Paper - Bazzill, Mark's Finest Papers; Ink - VersafineOnyx Black; Misc - Memento Markers, Aquabrush, Nestabilities, Foam Squares

  1. Very pretty, Harriet - so "dainty!" (Now THAT'S a word you don't hear much anymore:) ) Great idea to use that die for the elements of the sketch!

  6. Harriet, this card is so pretty! I love the CAS style and the colors that you used against the white cardstock. That border die is so elegant. I think I just might have to add it to my list of things to buy! :)
