CAS Card Class Day 6 - You Are My Sunshine

It only took me 5 tries to get this technique at least presentable to post!  This is the patchwork technique that Jennifer McGuire presented in our online CAS Card class - she made it look sooo easy!  NOT! (at least NOT for me).  Anyway, I did like how this one came out so I didn't want to cover up the bottom daisy with a sentiment so I used a rub-on on vellum for the sentiment.  The image is from Darkroom Door company.
Thanks for coming by!

  1. I really like the final card with the vellum overlay. I tried it to but got better results just using a rainbow ink pad that I had from years gone by.

  2. Ha, I just read Barb's comment and had to laugh. There have been a couple of things that wowed me and then, on second thought, I go, wait ...! But mostly, I'm learning a ton of stuff. I haven't tried this one yet and think it might be time-consuming, but it very much intriques me.

YBut I'm not here to talk about me. You've done a spectacular job with your CASE, Harriet! It looks like a high-end printed professional card from the store!!

  8. Hi Harriet! I think this really came out beautifully! Gosh those daisies are gorgeous! You're right, it wasn't easy, I had to do a bit of patching up with a paint brush here and there on my design! Thanks for visiting my blog the other day!
