I love the colors that SCS CC420 has: So Saffron, Real Red and Pool Party. I have some MME 6x6 pads that have these colors so I put them to use (I tend to hoard these papers). I colored the Darkroom Door daisy image with So Saffron and Real Red markers and stamped it onto PaperTrey white card stock. I used the sketch from the current CAS(E) This Sketch challenge:
I liked these colors so much that I made another card using papers from the same pad and the April sketch for Hero Arts:
The butterfly is from Hero Arts and was colored with a Real Red marker and stamped onto yellow polka dotted MME paper and cut out with the matching die. The sentiment is from a MME stamp set called The Sweetest Thing. The butterfly is adhered with a foam square and I added rhinestones to finish off the design.
Thanks for coming by!
So pretty! I love the white inked flowers on the first card - they really stand out. The bling around the butterfly on the second card is a nice pop. You make me want those papers!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I especially love the flowers. So cool!
ReplyDeleteI love them both, Harriet - great colors. I especially love the daisies.
