Summer Camp Week 3 Day 1
We received a new color combo and sketches from class today! I made this card which used Jennifer McGuire's background over stamping technique. I used ColorBox white pigment ink and stamped the diamond border from PaperTrey onto Kraft cardstock. When the ink was dry I stamped the border again using Kraft dye ink and off set the stamping.
The sketch had a banner diagonally across the card but I didn't have the right size dies to create a word across that would fit on the banner. The card is 5.5x3.25 in so it will still fit in an envelope with the banner hanging over the sides. I had originally die cut "thanks" but the "s" was on the banner fold so I just cut off both ends and adhered the strip with foam squares. I then die cut "you" and used my MS butterfly punches to create the layered butterfly.
Thanks for coming by!
