Summer Card Camp Wk 2 Day 1 Card 2!
Great title of this post, huh?!? I made a second card from today's lesson, following Jennifer McGuire's take on the 3rd sketch and this week's colors. In this lesson Jennifer shows how to give texture to die cuts with a craft knife (seen here on these feathers). These Besotted Stamps die cut Feathers were cut from watercolor paper. I blended on some Shabby Shutters distress ink, then ran the edge of the ink pad across them and then did the same with the Peacock Feather ink pad. I then spritzed them with water and let them dry.
The sentiment and little feather, stamped on the inside of the card, are from Crafty Secrets. I made the circles from pencil erasers, marker caps and an end of a pen (another tip from Jennifer) and then added some rhinestones. The feathers were adhered with foam tape when they were dry.
Thanks for coming by!
