Day 2 - Background with Water Color Pencils
I love working with water color pencils but I don't think to use them for backgrounds. The background here was created with Faber-Castell Water Color Pencils on dry Tim Holtz Water Color Paper, smooth side. Then I used a wide brush with clean water and just blended the colors. I really like how this sky came out. After the panel was thoroughly dried I stamped several silhouette images from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The panel is mounted on black card stock.
The first picture was taken inside by a window. Here is another picture taken outside:
Neither really capture the true color of the card in real life! Thanks for coming by!
