Faux Hand Watercoloring

For today's OCC - Watercoloring class we were learning how to faux hand watercolor.  This looked easy in the videos - NOT!  After many attempts I finally came up with something that I felt I could post!  These flowers and leaves are from Penny Black painted iwth distress inks and several different paint brushes.
Thanks for coming by!

  1. Great job Harriet. I have not even attempted today's lessons ... I know they are going to be challenging. Plus I just can't get my head around what stamps I have that will work ... maybe I need to go shopping :) Loll xx

  3. I think it looks awesome! It helps to practice on a scrap piece. I take an image and stamp it three or four times. Then I play around with different amounts of water on each. I try dabbing the water on some and brushing it on others to see which method best for that particular image.
