A Break from Holiday Cards


I am so glad to be done with all holiday card making now.  I took advantage of the SCS color challenge for this week - black, white and honey.  I made the first card with the CASology challenge in mind - cue card LIGHT.


I had a few of the Paper Smooches skyline die cuts left over from my last project so I used them here and cut the sun from PaperTrey patterned paper.  The sentiment is from Altenew.


This next card is a case for the SCS Featured Stamper from this week.  The stamp set is from Technique Tuesday and I paper pieced the chickies with patterned paper from PaperTrey.  I think these chickies are so cute!!

Yesterday I had lunch with my blogging/stamping friends Darnell and Kim.  It was very fun as always.  These two keep me laughing!  Here's a picture of us:

    Love these. One of these days I'm going to get a city skyline stamp (or die) because they always look so fantastic! I love how you've got yours in front of the big sun! And how fun that you live so close to Darnell and Kim that you can spend time together. I'm so jealous!

    Both these cards rock, Harriet! Love that huge patterned paper sun (although it could also be an awesome harvest moon) behind the buildings. And those chicks are adorable - they've been on my wish list for ages! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
