Tonight I saw a new to me technique from Jennifer McGuire. She called it Faux Textured Metal Paper. Here is the link to her blog and video. I won't step through how I did this so check it out on Jennifer's blog. It is super easy and quick and the possibilities are endless! Since the SCS CAS challenge tonight was "under the stars" I used my star embossing folder for this card. I also used Pearl Ex instead of Perfect Pearls since I had that powder in gold. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. This is a one layered card plus the sentiment banner.

ReplyDeleteWasn't that fun? I loved watching her do that. I am going to try it. Was going to this morning but instead I mowed the grass and ran errands. My contractor has started the other bathroom and I had to pick out tile. Hopefully tonight. Love your card!!
ReplyDeleteI have Pearl Ex as well and wondering how it worked since it doesn't have that "binder" in it. Did the ink hold it? I just saw JM's video and looks like fun!
