Simply the Best
I love how this came out - I used freezer paper for a mask. I cut the freezer paper with the PaperTrey butterfly die and ironed it onto the watercolor paper. I then watercolored around and over the mask using the wet on wet watercolor technique. I carefully lifted the mask off when the panel was dry and stamped the sentiment (from Technique Tuesday). I added a few gems and mounted it onto aqua mist card stock and added a thin black strip to make the watercolor panel pop.

Simply lovely and colorful Harriet! I love how the color radiates so naturally from the bottom of your card. Thanks for playing along with us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card Harriet and thank you so much for talking about how you made this card. I bought freezer paper from a craft place then couldnt for the life of me remember what it was for. In the end it went in the draw, now I remember so I can try this technique. Thanks for the inspiration with this wonderful watercolour wround the butterfly
