FS and 2 More Holiday Cards!

I decided that I will make a Christmas card for every challenge I do on SCS to build up my stash! Today's Featured Stamper (FS) on SCS was Miss Boo (Jen) of CAS challenge fame! I was inspired to make two cards for the challenge.

The first card was a case of Jen's Garden Buggy card. I used PaperTrey's Holiday Button Bits and stamped the Gingerbread man in SU! Chocolate Chip on Vintage Cream cardstock. I used my Nestabilities to cut out the image and the two mats. The buttons are from PaperTrey as well as the twine. The ribbons are from American Crafts (plaid) and Making Memories (red). I used an EK Success Border punch on the bottom strip.

This second card was a case of Jen's Have a Terrific Day. I used my Spellbinders Labels 1 die since I don't have the Top Note die that Jen used which needed a square card. I used Daisy D's patterned paper (which unfortunately is discontinued), ran some Vintage Cream cardstock through with a Christmas embossing folder which was also cut with the Labels 1 die. I added a red velvet ribbon and a poinsettia from Making Memories. The sentiment is from PaperTrey.

Thanks for coming by!

  2. Great cards, Harriet! I always like the way you put things together. That gingerbread man is so cute and the second one is very pretty, too.

  3. What a great idea to use the challenges to inspire your Christmas cards. These are both nice but I really like the gingerbread one. The plaid ribbon really adds to the warm, homey feel of it.
