Foiled Again! STAMPlorations Mid Month Stencil Challenge Reminder
Just a reminder for the November STAMPlorations Stencil challenge:
Foiled Again - this month I played with the foiled stencil technique and here is my second attempt with it. I used the Bubble Dance stencil, applied the Thermo Web Transfer Gel over the stencil, then let it dry. Once dried (it has a shiny gloss to it) I placed a red foil transfer sheet with the shiny side up on top, placed it inside a folded piece of computer paper and ran it through my laminator. I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle and embellished the card with the Christmas Reindeer die cuts and the Jingle Bells Phrase Die cut from gold metallic card stock.

STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge - RAINBOW
A new month and a new STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge. This month's optional color twist is: RAINBOW.
I am still creating my holiday cards so I thought I'd use Christmas tree lights (rhinestones) for my rainbow color twist:
I used the STAMPlorations Christmas Icons - Christmas Tree #2 - CUTplorations to cut out the Christmas tree. I then cut out that panel with a stitched rectangle die. The panel was adhered with foam tape. Then I applied self sticking rhinestones.
Here's a view looking straight on so you can better see the colors of the rhinestones:
I hope you will play with us this month. Here are the rules for the challenge:
- Players can link up to 3 CAS cards.
- Players can enter a CAS card with or without the optional color twist.
- Non-STAMPlorations products are OK
- To qualify for the prize, players must display challenge graphic and link back to the challenge post (blogs only)
- Prizes: $15 GC for the winner (voted by the team); $5 GC to three (3) randomly picked players

STAMPlorations Christmas Release Blog Hop
Welcome to the STAMPlorations Christmas Release Blog Hop! Today we are featuring new CUTplorations dies. Leave a comment here for a chance to win one of two prizes: choice of one (1) cover plate die & one (1) word/phrase die from the new Christmas dies featured during the hop OR a $15 GC to the store. Then hop on over to the STAMPlorations blog to see the other designers' creations. Commenting closes November 9. Winner to be announced on November 10 in the October Winners post.
From October 29 to November 12 (2 weeks) dies in the Christmas Dies section are 10% off - no coupon needed. The discount is automatically applied in the shopping cart. You can also get an extra 20% off by using my discount code: STAMPGIRLHARRIET.
I created three cards for this blog hop. All three use the STAMPlorations Doodled Christmas Bells Cover Plate die. The first card also includes the new STAMPlorations Heaven and Nature Sing Phrase die.
The Doodled Christmas Bells die cut was cut from mirrored silver cardstock and adhered onto a white card base. I had the black cardstock oval frame already cut from another project so I adhered that over top. The phrase die cut was cut from red glitter paper and adhered overtop the frame to complete the card. The "i" in "sing" was dotted with a red rhinestone.
This next card is my favorite but it did take some time to complete it. I used the cover plate to cut out black cardstock, mirrored silver metallic paper and the red glitter paper being careful to collect the pieces that are left After adhering the black background to a white card base I glued in pieces from the red glitter for the bow and the mirrored silver pieces for the bells. I really love the look of this "paper piecing".
For the last one I went with easy! I adhered the red glitter die cut to the white card base and was done!
I hope I have inspired you to hop with us and to leave comments for a chance to win one of the prizes! Also, you can use my discount code STAMPGIRLHARRIET and get an extra 20% off.

STAMPlorations December CAS Card Challenge - Reminder
I am posting another card for the STAMPlorations December CAS Card Challenge - a reminder that the challenge is still on until the end of the month.
Here is a sample that will hopefully inspire you to play with us and also to get those last minute holiday cards done!
I used the STAMPlorations Framed Poinsettia stamp set (retired). The image was stamped onto a tag cut with Pretty Pink Posh tag die cut, embossed with gold embossing powder and watercolored with a Zig Clean Color Brush pen. I adhered the tag with foam tape to an embossed card front. I designed this card last year and liked it so much I made a bunch more for this year!

Happy Jewish New Year and STAMPlorations CAS Card Design Team
I am not sure if I have any followers left since I haven't blogged in the last 6 months. My attention has been diverted from stamping and making cards for many reasons that I won't go into here. I am excited to get back into the stamping/blogging world though and I have Shery Russ to thank for that - I have been accepted to the STAMPlorations CAS Card Design Team starting this month so watch this space for the October challenge starting on October 5th.
I did create some Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) cards to raffle off at my temple's Labor Day BBQ fundraiser in August so I will leave you with photos of them:

This is one of the cards I made. I used several PaperTrey stamp sets (NBUS) and the Cover Plate: Comic Strip die (NBUS). This is a case of Lizzy Jones' card.

Another Silver Happy Hanukkah Card
Here is another Hanukkah card I made to send out this year. I brought this glittery paper back from my friend Georgia's house when I went to Nebraska in January. I will submit this card to CASology for the cue card challenge: SILVER:
I am also submitting this to CAS(E) this Sketch:
and to Just Us Girls:
and to AAA Card Challenge:
The card base is Recollections card stock and I don't know the brand of the glittery papers. I used PaperTrey dies for the Star of David, the tilted panels and the sentiment banner. The sentiment is also from PaperTrey.

Silver Happy Hanukkah
The CASology challenge this week was perfect timing for me. I am finishing up my Hanukkah and Christmas cards and the cue card is SILVER:
This stamp set is from Casual Fridays and I stamped it with silver ink and embossed it with silver embossing powder. The "flames" were done with gold ink and gold embossing powder. This was a very quick and easy card to make for multiple card making!

Happy Holidays
I finally got some time to make a card! This is for two SCS challenges - CAS300 to use wildlife on your card and for TLC509 - layered die cuts. This is a case of Maureen Merritt's card. I have had this stamp set from WPlus9 for a while and couldn't wait to get some time to use it to case Maureen's card! I cut the deer three times and layered the die cuts.

LIM - More Than One Tree
This is my second post for today. To view my ATCAS challenge post please scroll down.
The Less Is More challenge is to make a card with more than one tree. I just happened to have out my PaperTrey sets and was planning to create a set of one layer cards so what better incentive than the challenge! I used a combination of three stamp sets on the first card and just two on the other cards. I used a white gel pen for highlights on the kraft cards.
I am also submitting this to Moxie Fab World's Tree-mendous Trees Challenge

Peace on Earth
This is for the Online Card Class - Holiday Card Workshop, watercoloring. I used the emboss resist with watercoloring by heat embossing with white embossing powder the dove and the sentiment. Then I did a wet on wet color wash with my Twinkling H2O's. The dove image is from Rubber Cafe and the sentiment is from PaperTrey Wet Paint - Holiday set.

Celebrate
I am taking the Online Card Class - Holiday Card Workshop and this shaker card is for the interactive lesson. I also am submitting this to Virginia's View Challenge - All Things Metallic.
The menorah image from PaperTrey and the sentiment from Casual Fridays were embossed with silver embossing powder and the sequins of course are metallic.

JOY
I created this card for the SCS color challenge and will submit this to a new blog challenge - ShowCASe Your Style

The challenge is to pick a row from the Tic Tac Toe board:
I chose the middle horizontal row - die cut, red and sequins.
I will also submit this to Virginia's View Challenge - Metallics
I colored the WoodwareUSA poinsettia with Copic Markers, die cut the sentiment with PaperTrey's Phrase Play Joy die from gold glitter paper and added sequins and Wink of Stella clear glitter marker.
