FBW221 In With the New

Happy New Year and welcome back to Flutter By Wednesday!  This week our challenge is In With the New - use something new or make a card around the theme "new" (new baby, new house, etc).  I got a new Silhouette Cameo and couldn't wait to make something with it!  This card was made with the Cameo - it cut out the A2 size card and the butterfly.  I attached the raspberry fizz polka dotted paper on the inside of the card front for some color and stamped the sentiment from PaperTrey Ink.  It was pretty bare so I embossed the card front with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.
I hope you come and play with us - just stick to the theme and don't forget to include a butterfly or a fairy!  Then link up your project to the Flutter By Wednesday blog and don't forget to check out what the rest of the team created!

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
Casology Week #25 - NEW
Simon Says Stamp -  New Something

Thanks for coming by!

  12. Love the bright pink on all that lovely white space! Congrats on the new Cameo - I'm still resisting (I have a Cricut and really can not justify another machine), but I get weaker every day! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week, Harriet! And I saw that you got to play with Darnell this week - how fun! (loved your sweater - I feel a card coming on!)
