This card was created for my new friend Kim Heggins' birthday, for the Flutter By Wednesday sketch and for assignments for day 1 and 2 of the Online Card Class: Pattern Play.

I paper pieced this Auntie Amy's fairy with papers from MME.  The wings were paper pieced with vellum and then I applied Frosted Lace Stickles to them.

Flutter By Wednesday #120 - Danni's Birthday Blowout!!!

Today is the first of an all month long celebration of Danni's birthday!  Danni is the owner of the Flutter By Wednesday blog.  She loves to celebrate her birthday and she is doing it up big - she is a very generous and sweet person!!  So join the rest of the FBW DT in celebrating Danni's birthday by following the sketch below, create a birthday card and include a butterfly, fairy or an angel on your card.  Then go over to the FBW blog and post a direct link to your creation on InLinkz.  All the directions to qualify for the awesome prize package are on the FBW blog.
Here is the sketch and my take on it. 

I paper pieced the fairy's clothes, flowers in the hair and wings.  I used the out of the box technique to cut the fairy out with my Nestabilities.
