To Infinity and Beyond!

Here is another card for the Fusion Challenge and for this week's CASology cue card: Travel:
I really love the sketch at the Fusion challenge so I used it for my Casology card.  I went through my stamps looking for something appropriate for Travel theme and came up with this PaperTrey set.  The chevrons were cut out of PaperTrey Starry Night (sparkly) card stock with my MFT Die-namics die.  The stars and rocket are both cut with PTI dies and I stamped the flames from the stamp set with SU! ink - kind of using the colors of the flowers in the Fusion photo.  I used a silver metallic gel pen to color in part of the rocket and finished it off with a blue rhinestone on the nose.

You're Out of this World!

The challenge for the Less Is More blog is "Up in the Air".  The sentiment, rocket ship image and die as well as the moon and the star dies are from PaperTrey.  The chevron border is from MFT (Die-namics).  The circle was created out of cutting with two circle Nestabilities together.  Paper and felt are from PaperTrey.

CAS204 Sketch

I first created this card for the SCS CAS challenge - CAS204: A Sketch; I used the colors for the Dynamic Duo #36 challenge which is red and black.  The flowers are from a new Sweet N Sassy set called Long Stem Silhouettes and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.  I used an MFT Die-namic border die for the side panel.
I really like this sketch so I made another card using the DD36 colors and the dessert which was to make a valentine card:
I made the hearts from the Hero Arts set into balloons by adding the twine to the stamped hearts.  The sentiment is from the same HA set - I got this set on sale at Michaels for $5 and there is no name on the set!

Seize The Birthday Challenge #1

There is a new challenge in blogland called Seize The Birthday.  It is all about creating birthday cards. This is the first week and we have a sketch to follow and we are to make feminine cards.  Here is the sketch:
This card is for a friend in my Temple's Sisterhood who is turning 70 tomorrow.  Inside I stamped the sentiment "and fabulous!"
The patterned papers are from My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing.  The oval die cut is from MFT Die-namics and the number die cuts are from PaperTrey dies.

FBW216 PUNCH IT!

Wow it's Wednesday already - which means a new challenge at Flutter By Wednesday!  This week we are getting punchy - stressed out over the holidays coming up??? Then PUNCH IT!! Relieve that stress!  (Actually I used a die cut machine and dies).  Make sure to include a butterfly or a fairy on your project, then link it directly to InLinkz on the Flutter By Wednesday blog.  While you are there please check out what the other Flutterby's created!
This card is a case of SCS circleguru's (Allison Cope) BeeHappy card.  I kept a similar layout and colors and changed the papers and main image.  The patterned papers are from MME.  I used the PaperTrey Butterfly Dreams die, the Die-namics Mini Doily die and the Die-namics Scalloped Border die.
