I have two cards today for Flutter By Wednesday (FBW). This month all the FBW are open challenges - no extra requirements - just have a butterfly or fairy on your project. So link your card up to Mr Linky on Danni's blog and while you're there take a look at the other FBW DT member's creations (links to their blogs are on Danni's sidebar) - they are always awesome!
The first card was made for the SCS Color Challenge which was Bermuda Bay (Taken with Teal), Apricot Appeal and Chocolate Chip. I used the reverse masking technique with a Cuttlebug Butterfly die cut reverse image. I sponged the Apricot Appeal and the Taken with Teal inside the mask, then stamped the silhouette images inside in Chocolate Chip. This card is 4.25" square.
The second card was made using this week's SCS sketch challenge. No stamping on this one! The patterned paper is from the DCWV Nana's Nursey stack and the card stock is PaperTrey Vintage Cream. I used the Fiskars Sunburst border punch and the Martha Stewart butterfly punch. The buttons are PaperTrey Vintage Cream and are attached with glue dots. Each square is popped up with Mini Pop Dots.
Thanks for coming by!
