Welcome to Repeat Impressions (RI) Sneak Peak Blog Hop! If you came from Darcie's blog, you are in the right place! If you came straight to my blog, you will need to go to the RI blog The House That Stamps Built to get started on the hop. To be eligible to win the blog hop candy you need to have gone to each of the RI Rock Stars' blogs to collect a special word. You don't want to miss any words in the process. Once you have collected all of the words you need to email Wendy (wendy@repeatimpressions.com) with all the words to be eligible for the blog candy. And if you can use all the words to create the correct phrase then you will have earned 2 chances for the blog candy! You must complete the hop and email Wendy with all the words and/or the phrase no later than 10pm eastern time on Monday, 8/16. The blog candy for this hop is... an unmounted sheet of the new Christmas Penguins of course! This new Christmas Penguin series will be made available to purchase (either as single images or as one unmounted sheet) on Wednesday, August 18 at the Repeat Impressions online store or from a link on the RI blog and the winner of this blog hop will be announced.
Here is my peek of the Penguin Tree just one of the many images included in the Christmas Penguin sheet. The Merry Christmas is a part of a sentiment (I masked off the rest of the sentimnet) that is included on this large unmounted rubber sheet. Aren't they just stinkin' cute??? I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black on Vintage Cream PaperTrey card stock. I colored the image with Prismacolor water color pencils and an aquabrush. I used a white gel pen to color in the trim of the Santa hats. Then I used a Spica Black glitter pen and traced around the penguins to make them sparkle (can't see that in the photo). I colored in the star with a Gold Spica Glitter pen. The patterned papers are from Making Memories.
I hope you are enjoying the blog hop and before you go to the next stop on the hop which is Joy's blog you need my word which is Wednesday.
Here is the order of the blog hop in case you come upon a broken link:
