Repeat Impressions Summer Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Repeat Impressions Blog Hop.  We are celebrating the release of new stamps for the summer with a blog hop and blog candy too!

Here is a card I made using the new large and small butterflies and sentiment from the new Summer Collection.
So how can you win the blog candy? Just stop by each of the Repeat Impressions Rock Stars' blogs (links listed below) and collect the word from each designer.  When you have collected all of the words, you need to email them to Wendy at wendy@repeatimpressions.com.  And if you can create the correct phrase with these words you can earn 2 chances to win the blog candy.  You must complete the hop and email Wendy with all the words and/or the phrase no later than 8pm eastern time on Tuesday, 7/19.  The blog candy for this hop... an unmounted sheet of the new Summer stamps of course! On Wednesday, 7/20 the winner of the blog candy will be announced on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.

Today is our fearless leader, Wendy's, birthday and all the Rock Stars made cards to wish her a happy birthday.  I have included the links to the Rock Stars blogs at the end of this post so you can check out their cards.
I made a swing card for Wendy:

I had so much fun making this card.  The card base comes already cut and scored.  All you need to do is decorate!  You can find them here. The stamp set I used is called Little Birdie (8301-U).

Repeat Impressions Sneak Peek Blog Hop - Snow Globes and Ornaments!

This is my second post for today, Wednesday the 18th.  If you are looking for Flutter By Wednesday #118 please scroll down or click here.
It seemed like quite a few people enjoyed last week's Repeat Impressions Sneak Peek of the Christmas Penguins so we are at it again!  This time the sneak peek is the new not yet released Snow Globes and Ornaments!  To be eligible to win a full sheet of the Snow Globes and Ornaments stamps you need to collect a word from each RI Rockstar's blog and email Wendy  (wendy@repeatimpressions.com) with the correct phrase by 10pm Eastern Time on Sunday, 8/22.  To double your chances and to earn 2 shots at the blog candy you also need to leave a comment on each blog including the Repeat Impressions blog
And of course the comments need to be completed no later than 10pm Eastern time on Sunday, 8/22.  The winner of the candy will be announced on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built on Monday, 8/23.
Here are my cards featuring the Snow Globes (and you'll notice that one of those cute penguins made their way into a Snow Globe!!)  Yup - there are images with scenes in the globes and then there is an empty snow globe to put what ever you want in it!  How cool and versatile is that?!?
This is a one layer card - I stamped the snow globe on the white card stock and then again on Pure Poppy card stock and cut out and adhered the base of the globe.  Then I inked up the penguin from the Christmas Penguin set and stamped him in the globe.  Many of the penguins fit perfectly in this globe!.  I scored two lines on each side of the globe and then ran the ends of the front of the card through my die cut machine with the snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the Snow GLobe and Ornaments set and I used a stamp-a-majig to make sure I placed it centered and straight.  You can't really see in this picture but I cut a circle out of acetate with a Nestabilitiy and attached it to the globe with Crystal Effects so it looks like a snowglobe in real life!

There are several snow globe scenes in this stamp set and this is one of my favorites - I also love the cat snow man one too!  I stamped the snow globe with PaperTrey Enchanted Evening ink and colored in the light with a yellow marker.  I cut it and matted it with my Nestabilities.  I embossed silver card stock with a Christmas embossing folder and cut out the trees and matted it with Enchanted Evening card stock.  The sentiment is also from this stamp set.

Well, thanks for stopping and taking a look and now take note of my word - Impressions.  Now on to the other Rockstars. I have included their links in case you need them:  Oh - and Good Luck!!

Repeat Impressions Sneak Peek Blog Hop - Christmas Penguins!!!

Welcome to Repeat Impressions (RI) Sneak Peak Blog Hop!  If you came from Darcie's blog, you are in the right place!  If you came straight to my blog, you will need to go to the RI blog The House That Stamps Built to get started on the hop.  To be eligible to win the blog hop candy you need to have gone to each of the RI Rock Stars' blogs to collect a special word.  You don't want to miss any words in the process.  Once you have collected all of the words you need to email Wendy (wendy@repeatimpressions.com) with all the words to be eligible for the blog candy. And if you can use all the words to create the correct phrase then you will have earned 2 chances for the blog candy! You must complete the hop and email Wendy with all the words and/or the phrase no later than 10pm eastern time on Monday, 8/16. The blog candy for this hop is... an unmounted sheet of the new Christmas Penguins of course!  This new Christmas Penguin series will be made available to purchase (either as single images or as one unmounted sheet) on Wednesday, August 18 at the Repeat Impressions online store or from a link on the RI blog and the winner of this blog hop will be announced.

Here is my peek of the Penguin Tree just one of the many images included in the Christmas Penguin sheet.  The Merry Christmas is a part of a sentiment (I masked off the rest of the sentimnet) that is included on this large unmounted rubber sheet.  Aren't they just stinkin' cute???  I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black on Vintage Cream  PaperTrey card stock.  I colored the image with Prismacolor water color pencils and an aquabrush.  I used a white gel pen to color in the trim of the Santa hats.  Then I used a Spica Black glitter pen and traced around the penguins to make them sparkle (can't see that in the photo). I colored in the star with a Gold Spica Glitter pen.  The patterned papers are from Making Memories.
I hope you are enjoying the blog hop and before you go to the next stop on the hop which is Joy's blog you need my word which is Wednesday.
