I am catching up with my homework. Here are two backgrounds I created from Day 5. The other two that I created are still drying so I will show them in a separate post.
I love this "shabby chic" or Victorian looking background:
I used distress inks and a mini dauber to color the dry embossed background. The embossing folder is an Anna Griffin by Cuttlebug.
This next background was created with a Sizzix embossing folder and then blended distress inks:
Thanks for coming by!
Oh wow the first one is exquisite
ReplyDeleteLove them both but I agree that the first one is stunning! WOW!
ReplyDeleteI'll make it unanimous.........that first one is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of this folder by Anna Griffin? This is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWill you share the colors/brands of inks you used on the first card, please?
ReplyDeleteI can't remember exactly which distress inks I used. I think the leaves was done with Iced Spruce, the yellow was a mix of Mustard and Lemonade and the pink was Warn Lipstick and the Raspberry color.
DeleteWhat is the name of the Anna Griffin folder please?
DeleteI found the embossing folder after searching several sites. It's called Wildflower Gate. I agree: lovely use of colors here!
