This and That

For some reason the pictures won't line up for the published post as I have them in the draft post.

Here are some cards that I created mostly for the MD Anderson Cancer Clinic but for other occasions as well.

I will post more another day. I created 50 cards in the month of October for the HYCCT SCS challenge to send to the MD Anderson Cancer Clinic.

Thanks for stopping by!

Poppies a la O'Keefe

I have been catching up on making cards for the SCS Hope You Can Cling To (HYCCT) challenges. There is one challenge every day of October. We make the cards to send to MD Anderson Cancer Clinic in Texas for the patients and their families to use.  I have two more to do to catch up and I will post pictures of my cards here when I get the chance.  Today's challenge was to create a card inspired by famous paintings.  I love Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, especially her poppies. So I used my Penny Black Poppies stamp and colored it with Copic markers. I used the sketch from Sunday Stamps Challenge blog:

I am also submitting this to Virginia's View Challenge for October: Coloring

Merry Christmas

This card was created for the SCS CAS challenge to use words as focal point and no stamped images and for the Hope You Can Cling To challenge to create a card that does not require extra postage - or a flat card.  The tree and sentiment are both dies and i Cut them out of gold glittery paper and out of PTI Vintage Cream paper. I did the inlay technique by adhering the gold die cuts to the cram card base.
I also will submit this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: CAS Christmas.

You Are Amazing

I created this card for the SCS HYCCT1503 - symbols of fierceness, strength, camo, etc. Last year I Googled pink camo and found these cool digi papers.  I stamped the ribbon and sentiment from an Avocado Arts stamp set.  I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge for my layout.
