FTL234 Happy Birthday

I used the FTL 234 sketch from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog and the colors from the CQC182 to create this card:

 

 The iris was created with a Kitchen Sink Stamp 4 step stamping set and the sentiment and buttrfly are from PaperTrey.   All papers and the ribbon are from PaperTrey as well.  I think the card looks much better in real life!

Hanukkah Cards

It's a good thing Hanukkah is eight days!  I finally finished all my cards to send out!  I made 45 cards this year!  These are the cards I made:

This first one uses the menorah from PaperTrey's Mazel Tov set.  It is embossed with silver embossing powder and cut out and matted with Nestabilities.

This second card uses the dreidel image from Kitchen Sink Stamps - it is 4 step stamping and I just love how it came out.  The little swirl image and the sentiment are from PaperTrey sets - the swirl is from Pond Life and the sentiment is from Mazel Tov.
Now that these cards are all done I have to address and mail out my Christmas cards!  At least they are all made.

CAS35 Inspiration Challenge

I love the CAS challenges on SCS - I stalk the challenge thread and gallery every Sunday night waiting for the challenge to be posted. This week the challenge was an inspiration challenge - the pillows from Cost Plus World Market. This card was inspired by these pillows. I used my Kitchen Sink Stamps and many different inks to make create the roses. The card is 4.25" square. I actually made a long panel and cut a 4" square from it for the main image panel so it is layered on top of a white card base. It felt good to get out this set and use it again!
