Birthday Wishes

I found a few minutes to play tonight - I am in between travels! This was created for the FTL298 which will be posted on Friday the 4th at the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  I used the
Curtain Call Birthday Bash challenge to help me choose the colors and patterned paper.  The paper is from MME and the sentiment is from PaperTrey.

FTL267 Peace on Earth

This is my take on the FTL267 from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  I haven't participated there for quite a while and I miss playing with Natasha's sketches.  I used a new to me Sizzix embossing folder for the background.  The wreath is a 3D sticker from Jolee's.  I stamped the sentiment from PaperTrey with Pinefeather ink - it is really dark green but looks black here in the photo.

Just Because

Here is another card for the FUSION card challenge using the sketch for the Clean and Simple Stamping blog - FTL235.  For this Fusion entry I am using just the photo inspiration (Lesley's challenge) - so I drew the colors from the photo as well as flowers.
The image is from Technique Tuesday and I stamped it with Memento ink and colored it with Copic and Spectrum Noir markers.  I went over the flowers with Spica gitter pens.  The seniment is also from the same TT set.

FTL234 Happy Birthday

I used the FTL 234 sketch from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog and the colors from the CQC182 to create this card:
The iris was created with a Kitchen Sink Stamp 4 step stamping set and the sentiment and buttrfly are from PaperTrey.   All papers and the ribbon are from PaperTrey as well.  I think the card looks much better in real life!

Happy Mother's Day

I created this card for three challenges:  the SCS FS317 challenge - to case Suen (Sue); the FTL230 sketch and the Dynamic Duos #42 color challenge.  I was inspired by two of Sue's cards in particular:
CAS89 Snowflakes of Another Color and CAS157 Leaves and Butterflies.  I used a Bosskutz flower die, a PTI daisy die for the flower centers and a WPlus9 leaves die.  The sentiment is a rub-on from my stash.

FTL204 BIG Birthday Wishes

This is my card for the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog FTL204 sketch - a great sketch for using scraps of double sided patterned paper!  I used MME paper and a few different sizes of Circle Nestabilities to create the circles.  I matted the main panel with PaperTrey Ocean Tides card stock and then attached the panel to the Vintage Cream card base.  The sentiment is from PaperTrey and was stamped with Ocean Tides ink.

FTL203, CR84FN60 and QFTD125

I finally was able to find some time to sit down today and make some cards.  I used the emboss resist technique on this one and another one that I made for Wednesday's Flutter By Wednesday blog hop.  This is a case of BarbieP's card who is the SCS Queen for the day (week), using the colors from the curent CR84FN60 (Green, blue and purple) and the layout is this week's FTL203 from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  The image is from Unity and I heat embossed it with Detailed white embossing powder.  I used an ink blending tool to sponge on the Distress Inks.

Flutter By Wednesday #195 - Open Challenge

Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday 195 - an open challenge.  Just create a new card using a butterfly, fairy or an angel and post it directly to InLinkz on the Flutter By Wednesday blog.  I used the FTL layout from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog for my card today.  The daisies were made with the PaperTrey Blossom Builder 3 dies and the sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers.  I stamped a polka dot background stamp from Mark's Finest Papers onto white cardstock and then stamped the sentiment, cut it out and made a tag.
