Speedy the Cat Friends Challenge #68 - Distressed Edges

Welcome to Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge #68.  This week Carol challenged us to make cards with distressed edges.  That isn't something I normally do on my cards so it was a good challenge to stretch me.  When I thought about the distressing it made me think about this fairy image from Mark's Finest Paper's Garden Fairies.  I did a Twinking H2O color wash on water color paper for the background - I thought it would look mystical - but you can't see the shimmer in the photo!
Now it is your turn to create a new project with distressed edges and link it directly to InLinkz on the Mark's Finest Papers blog for a chance to win a not yet released stamp set.  If you use MFP images you will be entered twice for the chance to win!  While you are visiting the blog, please check out what the other designers created!
Thanks for coming by!
Supplies: Stamps - Mark's Finest Papers; Ink - Versafine Onyx Black; Paper - Watercolor, Mark's Finest Papers; Misc - Twinkling H2O's, Aquabrush, Edge Distresser, Foam Squares

  4. oh those wonderful twinkling H2O's. My friend used to use them all the time. When she died and her daughter sold all her stamping things at a rummage i was hoping to acquire hers as a memory but alas, they were not there and her dtr didn't have any idea what i was talking about. Thank you for giving me the memory of her today. Your card is mystical. I love fairies.
