Watercolored Mums

The color challenge at SCS is peach, watermelon and pear pizzazz. I embossed this PaperArtsy flower stamp with gold embossing powder and then watercolored them with my Zig Clean Color Brush pens.  After coloring them I trimmed off the right side of the panel and overlaid that panel on top of some gold and white striped paper from PaperTrey.

I will submit this to Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge and to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes.

More Penny Black Flowers

I have been loving the new PB flowers - this one is so fun to color.  I used Copic markers here.  The butterfly was die cut from that sparkly paper that I have been using with a Penny Black die.  I added pearls for its body.  I used a Cuttlebug border embossing folder for the side of the card.

Another Fusion and Coloring Challenge Card

I had to make another card for the Fusion Challenge since I loved both the photo and the sketch. I fused the two together and just flipped the sketch by placing the butterfly on the lower right hand corner.  I stamped the Stamplorations gerbera flowers with Memento London Fog ink and colored them in with Copic markers.  I then used two Impression Obsession butterfly dies and popped the butterfly up with foam squares.
