Just a Note

Yesterday's SCS HYCCT1413 challenge was called Heart Song.  We were to include hearts, birds, music, etc.  I cut out my Copic colored bird from the Copics class practice sheets and popped it up on the Memory Box music die cut.  The sentiment is from a retired Mark's Finest Paper set.
I will submit this to Virginia's View Challenge - CAS cards.

Stamping Through the Seasons

The SCS color challenge is up to #500 and to celebrate the challenge team had 4 color combinations to play with - one for each season.   Going from top to bottom is Fall, Spring, Summer and Winter.  I used the PaperTrey "Hills" stamp series and colored each image with Copic markers.  I will be posting these in the Copics class gallery and am submitting these to Virginia's View Challenge - CAS cards.

Thanks a Bunch

I used the flower image from the OCC - Copics class, colored the image twice and cut out and popped up some of the leaves for the paper tole technique. This card was inspired by the Blue Jeans and Daisy photo from the SCS inspiration challenge.  The Wplus9 pocket image was stamped with Faded Jeans Distress ink and cut out.  I stamped the flowers from the same stamp set across the card front and the sentiment from Winnie & Walter was stamped on the card front in Versafine Onyx Black.  The center of the flowers were colored with a white gel pen.

Hello Friend

The third of 3 cards I made for Day 9 Copics class homework.  This is a stamp from Shirley's 2 Girls and the sentiment is from Avocado Arts.

A Little Birdie Told Me....

This is the second in a set of three cards that I created for my Copics homework from Day 9.  I had a lot of fun coloring this.  I colored the cat to look like the cat we used to have that my blog is named after - Ally.  This is another stamp from Shirley's 2 Girls.

You Make Me Smile

More Copic homework - from Day 9 - Backgrounds.  This is a bit of a stretch from the class but it got me to color "critters" with Copics.  I made a set of three cards using various stamps by Shirley's 2 Girls.  I will post them separately.

I am submitting this to Virginia's View Challenge - CAS cards.

OCC - Day 13

I learned so much in this Copics class.  Our last day of instruction was yesterday but I am still trying to catch up with all of the lessons.  This card is a case of Jennifer McGuire's card - coloring die cuts with Copic markers.  The main die cut is from Memory Box and the sentiment is from PaperTrey. After coloring the die cuts I used my clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush marker on the butterflies and leaves.

You Are Simply The Best

This is a copy of Sandy's card that she created for our OCC - Copics for Cardmakers class.  We were learning to shade with grays and blend with hard colors such as red.  This really looks better in real life - the flowers are on foam squares and there is a lot of dimension that I couldn't capture in the photo.  The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.
