Butterfly Kisses
It is time for a reminder for the CAS Watercolor Card challenge: LOVE:
I cased one of my cards that I made several years ago - this is a valentine that I made for a friend to give to her daughter. I used water color pencils to color the image and Stickles on her wings. The heart die cuts are from Spellbinders and I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background.
I am looking forward to seeing your creations in the gallery!

CAS Watercolor Card Challenge - LOVE
The Snowflake Watercolor Gallery from last month was filled with sparkling beauties! Thanks for playing along with us! Our new CAS Watercolor Card theme for the month of February is LOVE.
Please check out the beautiful cards that the DT have created to inspire you - here.
Here is my sample:
This is a quick and easy card to make since I used the Simon Says Stamp pre-printed card panel. I have the watercolor pack of "love" cards. I colored the image with my Derwent watercolor pencils and an aquabrush. Before adhering the panel I embossed the card base with a very old Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Joy
I haven't had time to create for about a week now but it seems like forever! I made this card for a couple of challenges. The SCS Technique Lovers Challenge was to use only one word and embellishments. I used the Freshly Made Sketch from this week (and took a little liberty with it):
and the CAS(E) This Sketch turned upside down:
I used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and a PaperTrey Phrase Play Die (Joy) to cut the gold glitter paper.
I am also submitting this to the Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge:

Love My Poppies!
When I was visiting with my stamping group last week I stamped off many Penny Black images - mostly poppies that I didn't own. This one was colored with Copic markers.
This one was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black onto water color paper. I used my Koi water color set to paint the poppies. I used a Memory Box stencil and very lightly stenciled some Baja Breeze circles for the background and then splattered some of the red ink along the flowers.
I left room for sentiments to be added.
I am submitting these to Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge:
I am also submitting this to the monthly Penny Black Saturday Challenge: White on White (image can be colored).

Love
This card is part of my homework from the Mask-erade class day 2. This is from a lesson that Jennifer McGuire taught. This card is using the negative of the die cut word "love". This wasn't a great die to use for this assignment but it was the best one I had.
My next post will have the card made with the use of the positive die cut used as a mask.
