Just a Note

I created this card for a few challenges: The SCS color challenge was to use Wisteria, Coral and Saffron.  I used the sketch from Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for the layout and I was inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge to use these Penny Black flowers (and the colors in the dress are close to the SCS challenge colors!  ETA: I meant to submit this earlier to the Penny Black and More Challenge for August: Summer Flowers.

I watercolored the flowers with Distress Inks and a paint brush.  The patterned paper is from paperTrey and I watercolored a piece of Tim Holtz card stock with the distress ink for the vertical strip so it would match the flowers.  The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.  I colored all of the flowers with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.

I used the Freshly Made Sketch for my card layout and was inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge:

I was inspired by the colors and the the grey circles or scallops of the shirt are reflected in the wheels of the bicycle and the grey patterned paper that has a darker shade of gray circles.  The bicycle is an image from Hot Off The Press and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.  The patterned papers are from MME.
