ATCAS #62 Oh Happy Day!
It's time for a new challenge at Addicted To CAS. Our hostess is Barb and she chose the Code Word(s) Black, White and Gold. This color combination is so on trend!
Our sponsor for this challenge is:
Our guest designer again is Pia.
Please go to the ATCAS challenge blog to check out the sponsor prize and to get more inspiration from Pia's creation as well as the creations by the rest of the DT. You won't be disappointed!
I really love the gold trend and I had some patterned papers by PaperTrey that were gold and white and I have some washi paper by Life Style Crafts in black and white. I used the Essentials by Ellen Bold Blooms dies to cut the flower and leaves out of gold glitter paper and then black card stock to give some dimension. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and sequins were added for a little embellishment. The tilted panels were cut with PaperTrey's TippedTops dies.
Thanks for coming by!

ATCAS #60 Cute As A Button
It's time for a new challenge at the Addicted to CAS challenge blog. Loll is our hostess and she chose the code word: CUTE.
Our sponsor for the challenge is Create A Smile Stamps:
and our quest designer again this month is Birgit! Check out her sample as well as all of the DT's samples on the ATCAS challenge blog.
As soon as I saw this code word I thought of "cute as a button". So I made a baby card and included that saying as well as two buttons. The images on the squares are Studio G $1 stamps as well as the sentiments. The buttons are from my stash. The main panels were cut with Spellbinders dies as was the tag. I used my old and favorite Cuttlebug dotted swiss embossing folder.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Scribbles Designs:

I clear embossed several Hero Arts butterflies on white card stock and then sponged a few Memento green dye inks on the panel. I cut borders from Lifestyle Crafts Washi tape sheets and adhered them to the panel. The panel was mounted to the card front with fun foam for dimension. I then stamped a few more Hero Arts butterflies with Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut them out with the Sizzix companion dies. The butterflies were adhered with foam squares.
I am submitting this card to the following challenges:

ATCAS #58 - Distress
Wow we had great entries for our last ATCAS challenge - thanks so much for playing! This challenge is brought to you by our fabulous team leader and owner of the ATCAS challenge, Kylie! Kylie has chosen the code word: DISTRESS
Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Uniko Studio:
Please go to the ATCAS Challenge Blog for information on the prize details and to see all of the inspiration from the design team and our guest designer Ellen.
I used Distress inks and an ink blending tool and blended the inks onto white card stock. I sprayed a flower petal die cut with water and put it onto the inked panel which removes some of the ink and leaves a "ghost" image. I then cut out a white panel with Simon Says Stamp (SSS) stitched rectangle die and then a circle with a SSS stitched circle die. After adhering the inked panel onto the card front I adhered the white panel with foam tape over the inked panel. I then placed the Memory Box die cut flowers over the aperture. The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

Happy Birthday to You
Today is my turn to host the Addicted to CAS Challenge #57. I chose the Code Word MASK:
I thought this word would provide different interpretations such as a stamping technique, a mask as an object, etc.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Inspired By Stamping:
I would like to welcome Ellen Parker our guest designer for this month. Please be sure to check out Ellen's awesome sample on the Addicted to CAS Challenge blog along with the rest of the team's samples for tons of inspiration!
I used masking tape to make the "frame" around the top and left side of the balloons, then I stamped them so that some parts were masked off. I also made a mask for the balloon so I could over-stamp two more balloons. I then stamped the sentiment with some words from the Winnie & Walter set The Big, The Bold, The Happy. The balloons were colored with Copic markers and then I drew the strings with a Copic Multiliner pen and a ruler.
Here is another card that I used masking for - it is my favorite masking technique actually:
For this card I used a sheet of Eclipse masking paper and die cut the Cuttlebug Butterfly. I then place the masking paper with the negative space onto the card front and sponged on some inks. Then, keeping the mask in place, I stamped the bullrushes from a Verve set and the dragonfly from a PaperTrey set. After removing the mask I stamped the sentiment.

I just love the font on the Cas-ual Fridays stamps from the MWAH set which I used here. I die cut the heart flourish out of the card front and also out of the red glitter paper and inlaid the red glitter die cut using the negative pieces from the white card stock.

ATCAS #53 - Just A Note
Welcome to our latest ATCAS challenge. The very talented Loll selected the code word: DOTS
Our sponsor for this challenge is Inspired by Stamping:
Since I don't know how to read music, those black little notes all look like dots to me so I chose this digital image for my dots! The image was printed onto the card front so I could make it a one layer card. I stamped the sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers (retired) in SU! Real Red and added a few
red sequins.
For more inspiration please stop by the ATCAS challenge blog and check out what the rest of the design team created!

ATCAS #52 - Sketch!
Today we celebrate ATCAS 2nd birthday! Thanks to Kylie for pulling this fabulous challenge and team together! I love being part of it! For our celebration Karen, our hostess, has a sketch for us:
Our sponsor for this challenge:
I used this image from Simon Says Stamp and paper pieced the cat and the box. I sprinkled a lot of sequins to make it look like they came out of the box when the kitty jumped in. I colored the kitty with Copic markers and the patterned papers are from My Minds Eye. The image was then cut with a Labels 2 Nestability and adhered to the card front on top of some scored lines with foam tape. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
I hope you celebrate with us and I look forward to seeing your creations. Please check out the rest of the design team's creations at the ATCAS challenge blog!

ATCAS #51 - TAG
Wow we're already into November - this year has flown by! It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Challenge #51 is brought to us by the fabulous Vicki Dutcher and she selected the code word: TAG.
We are again sponsored by Stamp Art Design by Kathryn:
I want to welcome our guest designer for November Linda L from Creepin Along!
My tag card is one that I massed produced this year to sell at a craft fair - fundraiser for my temple. I used all PaperTrey products to create this card with the exception of the tag die - that is from Pretty Pink Posh. I love the size of this tag. I used a kraft background (which I hardly ever do) to give it an old fashioned feel.
Thanks for coming by!

ATCAS #50 - Vellum Butterfly
We have a new ATCAS challenge for you hosted by our lovely Marie. Marie chose the code word Vellum:
Our sponsor is Scribbles Designs:
And our guest designer is Hannelie aka Desert Diva. Check out all of the inspiration by the design team on the ATCAS challenge blog and then link up your project there!
I love white on white and I love white embossing on vellum so I cased one of my cards that I made recently where I gold embossed a butterfly on vellum and I created a similar layout. I embossed this Hero Arts butterfly with white embossing powder on vellum and used the companion Sizzix framelit die to cut it out. I dry embossed the card front with a Lifestyle embossing folder and then used the SU! Madison embossing folder on another panel of white card stock and cut it out above the flowers. That panel is adhered with foam tape and then I finished it off with a white satin ribbon and the butterfly.
I am submitting this card to CAS on Sunday - Emboss It.
