Peace

I created this card for the Colour Me Playful Challenge and the SCS CAS challenge - Lovely as a Tree.

This is a one layer emboss resist card.  I masked off the top and bottom of the card front with Post-It notes.  I then stamped the tree and "snowflakes" with Versamark and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I then used an ink blending tool and blended the different color Distress Inks.  I removed the masks and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.

Love

Third post for today...

The second masked frame technique that Jennifer taught today in class was using a stencil over the negative space and a die cut mask.  I used some Washi paper the size of the card front and used my largest SB rectangle die to create the large negative space.  I used my SB Scalloped Heart Nestability to make the heart shape and used the positive inside the rectangle.  I taped the card down to my work space and then taped the Heidi Swapp stencil over the card front.  I used my blending tool to apply Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe Shadow ink and Certainly Celery dye ink.  When done I removed the heart mask and the frame mask and stamped the sentiment from Winnie & Walter in Hero Arts Charcoal Shadow ink.

I chose these colors so I can submit this to this week's Color Throw Down Challenge blog:

I am also submitting this to a Blog Named Hero challenge to use stencils.

Happy Birthday

I created this card for a few challenges:

SCS Inspiration Challenge - Black Arrow Pillow
Cas-ual Fridays - Shades of Gray

Addicted to Stamps and More 84 - CAS card

The sentiment is from Winnie and Walter and I absolutely love the font of the large words in the set!  The triangle image is from paperTrey and I used three shades of Hero Arts Shadow ink and Versafine Onyx Black for the sentiment.  No embellies so I can use this for a masculine card.

HELLO!

These cards were made for the SCS color challenge this week using Lisa Arana's sketch.

I thought my stamps from Winnie and Walter, a new stamp company, would be perfect with this sketch.   The sentiment is also from Winnie and Walter.  I love the fonts used in this set.

I am submitting this to Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge - Anything Goes.
