CAS Watercolour Challenge - Snowflake

Welcome to 2017 and a new CAS Watercolour Card Challenge! This month we are focusing on snowflakes!

Here is my card:

The background was created with Gamsai Tambi watercolors, wet on wet technique. I put down one color at a time and dried it with a heat gun before applying the next color.  I cut out the panel with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die. The snowflake corner is a Memory Box die. The sentiment is from a Wplus9 stamp set.

I hope you will join us at the CAS Watercolour Card Challenge blog - see you in the gallery!

Thanks for coming by!

  9. Sorry to be so late in commenting on my fellow CAS Watercolour DT members' cards! I love this - a perfect background for that lovely die cut (that I own and am never too sure how to use!). The sentiment is perfect as it truly does look stormy!
