Happy Hanukkah
I am in the holiday card and gift tag making mode. Hanukkah is so early this year - the first night is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving! I used this week's SCS sketch for this Hanukkah card. The menorah die cut is from PaperTrey and the papers are from PaperTrey and Making Memories.

Thank You
I created this card for several challenges: The FTL222 on the Clean and Simple Stamping blog, the SCS IC370 - Butterfly Pillow from MacKenzie Child website, Cas-ual Fridays: CFC84 - thank you card and the PPA150 color challenge. The Making Memories butterfly image is stamped with Raspberry Fizz ink, the PTI flourish is stamped with Memento Gray Flannel and the PTI sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. I embellished the butterfly with black and silver pearls and cut the border with an EKSuccess border punch.

Season's Greetings
Well I am slowly getting back into card making after working on my friend's school board election. I did two SCS challenges two days in a row which I haven't done for about a month! THis card was created for CAS196 which was to follow a sketch by va.sunshine (Teresa). I embossed the card base with a Holiday Words embossing folder from Quickutz. The banners were hand cut from scraps of old patterned holiday papers from Making Memories. THe ribbon is from my stash.

Flutter By Wednesday #146 - Sketch by Carly/Color Green Optional
Welcome to Flutter By Wednesday! This week we have a sketch challenge with the option to use green on our project. Here's Carly's sketch for us:
Here is my take on the sketch:
And I added a bit of green to the center of the flower! The image is from Mark's Finest Papers - Nature's Postage. The paper is also from MFP and Making Memories. I used a Crafts Concepts embossing folder on the bottom and sanded it so the white core of the paper shows through. The image is colored with water color pencils and an aquabrush.
Now it is your turn to create a card using this sketch and be sure to include a butterfly, fairy or an angel. The go to the Flutter By Wednesday blog and link it directly to InLinkz. Can't wait to see what you create!

Inspiration Challenge
I created this for the SCS Inspiration Challenge. We were to pick something from the Elizabeth Embellishments website and I picked the black and white marble coasters. I used flourishes and leaves for the background from a Making Memories poppy stamp set and from PaperTrey's Remember set. The white flowers on the black top panel are from a part of a Hero Arts panel set. The card base is PaperTrey's Vintage Cream and the black paper is from DCWV La Creme cardstock matstack. The butterfly was cut with a PaperTrey die and embossed with a CB Textile folder.

Triple Challenge - Whee!!!
This card is for three challenges: SCS WT264 (Sweet Child), Taylor's sketch challenge TESC106 and Pals Paper Arts color challenge PPA36. This is a lot of layers for me but I like it! I used Making Memories patterned papers to create the scene and to paper piece the dress. I stamped the image onto the scene, then stamped it again on white PTI card stock, the lavender plaid paper and the green patterned paper. I colored the image on the white card stock with Copics and paper pieced the dress and the leaves of the tree. I then glued the colored and pieced image onto the scene.
