PaperTrey blog hop take 3.  I had this idea running around in my head.  I am so addicted to the watercoloring techniques I learned and I can't stop water coloring every line art flower I have!  So I stamped the flower from Friends 'Til The End with Antique Linen Distress ink and then smooshed  Berry Sorbet (it looks more like melon in real life) and Aqua Mist inks onto an acrylic block and used the dye inks to water color the flower and the bit if background.  The sentiment is from PTI Fresh Paint 3.

Here is another card for the PaperTrey blog hop.  I really like these colors and I couldn't wait to use this new stamp set.  Besides the butterflies I LOVE the font on the word "beautiful"!

PaperTrey May Blog Hop

This is for the May PTI Blog Hop.  My card was inspired by the different shades of green and the squares in the photo below.  Also, I like how the right side of the photo is cut off, so I used that feature as part of the design.   I saw this design on Pinterest so I cannot take credit for it.

I used an image from Take Three: Spring and the Take Three Die to create my squares.  I used my Corner Chomper to round the opposite corners.  The sentiment is from Birthday Basics.

Thinking of You - PTI April Blog Hop

This month's PaperTrey Blog Hop theme is Masculine cards.  I used Take Three: Spring stamp set and stamped it with Versamagic Tea Leaves chalk ink.  To get them lined up straight I mounted all three images on a gridline acrylic block - what a time saver that is!  This is also for the SCS CAS116 challenge - Artist's Rule of 3's and a case of the Featured Stamper Fresh 'N Sassy's (Shelly's) Scrap Pile Cleanup card.

FTL134 Cute as a Button

I made this FTL134 from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog a One Layer Card.  I drew the frame around the buttons and sentiment to create a faux layer.  I used PaperTrey's button die and chip board to create the buttons.  I stamped them with Memento Bermuda Bay ink and PaperTrey's Bitty Background Blocks gingham image.  The buttons are threaded with embroidery thread. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Paper's Sew What set.

PaperTrey Feb Blog Hop Challenge

The PTI blog hop this month is featuring scallops.  The image I used is from last year's anniversary set.  I colored it with markers then stamped the image.

PaperTrey October Blog Hop Challenge

This is my first PaperTrey Blog Hop!  I have 4 cards to show you:

This is one of my favorite Chanukah cards - The dreidels are plastic charms and I used the swirl from Pond Life to give the spinning motion to the dreidels!  The sentiment is from PaperTrey Mazel Tov set.  I used Bitty Box Basics paper for part of the design.

For the next two cards I used PaperTrey Stampers Select, silver and the sparkly dark blue cardstock.  I stamped the images and sentiments with Versamark and embossed with silver ep.  On the card to the right I embossed Polka Dot Basics with silver ep.  Both card fronts are embossed with Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and I used Enchanted Evening ribbon on both cards.  I finished them off with a few blue rhinestones.


The card below is a clean and simple and quick card that is easily massed produced.  I stamped the dreidel with Enchanted Evening ink and cut it out and matted it with my Nestabilities.
