Poppy Gems
I finally used this Penny Black Poppy Gems image. The color challenge at SCS this week is Cucumber Crush, Sahara Sand and Real Red. Perfect colors for poppies! I used a strip of PaperTrey patterned paper and adhered it and the image to black card stock.
I am submitting this to the Penny Black and More Challenge: Anything Goes.

I watercolored the Penny Black flower image on water color paper with my Zig Clean Color Brush pens. The front of the card was created by heat embossing the same image with white embossing powder onto heavy weight vellum.
I am also submitting this card to Simon says Stamp (Anything Goes), House of Cards (Sheer papers), CAS Mix Up (Stamping, Heat Embossing + one other media) and the Penny Black Challenge (Anything Goes).

Penny Black Monthly Challenge
