SYD Online Card Class - Day 2 Homework 2

This card looks much better in real life than it does here:

I watercolored the background with Distress Inks, then sprayed a Hero Arts Gold Shimmer mist over the card when it was dry.  The die cut is Memory Box's Florina Corner. I adhered the die cut with Multi Matte Medium and matted the left and bottom of the panel with black card stock.  That was adhered to a white card.  I embellished with a few micro sized rhinestones.

SYD Online Card Class - Day 2 Homework 1

I created this card for day 2 homework:

I used Distress Inks and watercolored a piece of water color paper then cut out leaves from that piece of paper.  The dies are old ones from Cuttlebug.  I die cut the Winnie & Walter Hello from black card stock with Stick It on the back - love that stuff!  The leaves and sentiment are all adhered with foam tape.  I covered the sentiment with Wink of Stella - you have to look closely to see the sparkle!

SYD Online Card Class - Day 1 Homework 2

Here is my card for the 2nd homework assignment from Day 1.  I found this to be very hard - and this method of embedding the positive die into the negative spaces of two pieces of paper was the easiest of the methods according to Debbie Hughes!!

I'm not sure which is more distressed - me or the paper!!!  I lost some itty bitty pieces but this will have to do!  The papers and die are from PaperTrey.  I mounted the patterned panel onto the card base with a piece of fun foam.

Stretch Your Dies - Day 1 Homework 1

I started another Online Card Class yesterday and I wasn't able to get to the homework until today.  Here is my card based on Julie Ebersole's fold and tuck lesson.

The top of this trifold card is held down by the partially die cut word HUGS from PaperTrey.
The flowers and leaves are from Essentials by Ellen (designed by Julie) and the sentiment is from PaperTrey Swoosh stamp set.  I used Hero Arts Shadow Inks.
