You are Amazing
Day 1 of the Online Card Class - Mask-erade. This is my homework for Laura Bassen's ink blending with masks lessons. I like the hummer done this way because it gives the bird some motion.

Faux Laser Cut Card
The inspiration site for the SCS Inspiration challenge tonight was the Paper Art & Sculpture Pinterest site. I was inspired by two pins: the humming bird and this pin, the 3rd frame down. This site reminded me of the Faux Laser Cut technique that Jennifer McGuire shared on her blog. I used a Quickutz Hummingbird die and a Cuttlebug/Anna Griffin flower die to make this card.
I am submitting this card to the following challenges:
Virginia's View Challenge #11 - Clean Slate
The Curtain Call - Winter Wonder
I was inspired by the neutral colors in the photo.
ShowCASe Your Style - Use at least one die cut
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Darnell's NBUS challenge #3 - This is the first time I used the hummingbird die.

Season's Greetings
Well I am slowly getting back into card making after working on my friend's school board election. I did two SCS challenges two days in a row which I haven't done for about a month! THis card was created for CAS196 which was to follow a sketch by va.sunshine (Teresa). I embossed the card base with a Holiday Words embossing folder from Quickutz. The banners were hand cut from scraps of old patterned holiday papers from Making Memories. THe ribbon is from my stash.
